We’re looking for someone who wants to start a career in the legal industry by learning the ropes as an office junior in our city based law firm.
Your duties will be wide and varied, but normally include:
- scanning and copying
- data input
- file creation and closure
- deliveries, collections and errands
- document sorting and collation
- assisting with stationery and kitchen stock management
- keeping kitchen areas tidy including emptying dishwasher
- topping up printers with paper each day
- assisting with functions such as morning teas and working lunches
- organising Friday night drinks
- answering phone and forwarding all messages
- greeting clients on arrival
- managing meeting room bookings
- keeping meeting rooms and front of house tidy and presentable
- assisting the accounts staff with data entry
- balance checking
- ad-hoc banking
Being able to listen to and follow instructions is a must, along with having great interpersonal skills, a can-do/enthusiastic attitude, and a head for numbers. Advanced keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office would also be an advantage.
You will have a minimum of 4 years secondary schooling and have learnt basic occupation skills from a previous or current employment, preferably in an office or professional environment.
