New Occupations to be Recognised as Skilled by Immigration New Zealand

Immigration New Zealand (INZ) have today announced that a new version of the ANZSCO (the occupations database they use to determine the skill level of occupations) is being released, which will be adjusting the skill level attributed to certain occupations.

INZ are intending to adopt this new version of ANZSCO in mid-2020 but in the meantime, have implemented transitional policy allowing for the occupations listed below to be deemed skilled for the grant of 3 year mid-skilled essential skills visas and for the award of skilled employment points under the skilled migrant category, provided the applicant is also receiving a pay rate of at least $25.00 per hour.
